Foxton is a station in Destination: Benford. It serves the town of Foxton, which grew mainly due to the railway going through here. It's quite a busy station, with 4 tracks and 2 platforms. 2 inner tracks are for non-stopping trains (freights and others), while the 2 outer tracks are for stopping passenger trains and have platforms.

It's a busy junction between the Benford Ring Railway straight and the Northern Line on the left. The Middlecliffe Colliery line also branches off on the right. West of the station, the Foxton Link Line joins the Benford Ring Railway.

There's a level crossing with 4 tracks just east of the station, which is unique for having 2 different lines go across it. The signal box is also located next to the crossing, and controls the level crossing and nearby signals.

Verson 2.0 - Remastered

The station was first added in DB Remastered. It was originally known as Whyteham. It had 2 tracks and 2 platforms.

Version 3.0 - The Northern Lines

During July 2021, the station underwent a major refurbishemt. The previous station was completely demolished to make way for the current station. After some lengthy disputes with Benfordshire County Council, the station received the green light to extend Platform 2 to cater for charter services. In addition, a flyover was constructed to replace a series of crossovers. This change should reduce delays on the BRR, since trains going onto the FLL will no longer cross at the same level. The refurbishment program was conducted and carried out by SimulationNetwork.
